Welcome to Rivard Contracting, Inc.
We are a land clearing company that
started in 1989 as a tree
removal/trimming service. We have since
grown into a state of the art land
clearing operation capable of handling
any size project. We use the most
efficient equipment available and
recycle ALL of the raw material removed
from clearing projects at our 33 acre
recycling facility in East Bethel. This
enables us to reduce the price of land
clearing and pass the savings on to our
customer.
We specialize in removing trees for road
construction, street and utility
improvements, gravel pit expansion
areas, housing developments, tree
trimming, and storm damage. We then
process the raw material into wood
chips, Rec-Step certified playground
material, and a complete line of premium
and colored shredded mulches. We are a
wholesaler to many nurseries and
landscapers throughout the Upper
Midwest. Our crews are OSHA and MSHA
certified.
In addition to the wood chip and mulch
products, stumps that are excavated from
jobsites are processed into a 9”
Filtrexx Erosion Control Soxx. The Soxx
is packaged 160 feet per pallet and is
an innovative alternative to silt fence
with numerous other applications. They
are a MN/DOT approved product for all
MN/DOT projects for protecting inlets
from sedimentation. See our
